Chris and Sally Dickinson invite you to stay in the heart of the West Highlands. We have a comfortable 2 room suite available for 4 persons with private entrance, bathroom, TV and hospitality tray. Suitable for use as a double or two single rooms or a double and a twin. Accommodation can on request be extended to six persons. For excursions and trips the location is perfect. We are situated right in the village, just yards from the train station and buses and only 9 miles from Fort William. You can walk to and from the River Spean. Local walking and mountain biking trails start from the door. We have a 9 hole golf course just 100 yards away. Drive east to Speyside in less than an hour, south to Glencoe in half an hour, north to Loch Ness in half an hour or west to the Sands of Morar in an hour. Even Skye is within easy reach for day trips. We are just 5 minutes from the Aonach Mor gondola and 10 from the Ben Nevis north face car Climb a route on Ben Nevis, rock climb at Polldubh, or venture onto the Cuillin Ridge. Take a sea kayak tour, an open canoe river trip or learn to handle a kayak on flat or white water. Guiding rates are from £125-150 per day and part days can be negotiated. |

How to find us: From the south, take A82 towards Fort William, pass right through and drive north on A82 for 9 miles to the village of Spean Bridge. On entering the village you will see a Little Chef, a Police Station and turn right here (immediately before the Spean Bridge Hotel) into the Corriechoille Road. From the north, follow A82 south from Inverness, or join this road at Invergarry if coming on A87 from Kyle of Localsh, and continue south to Spean Bridge. Cross the river bridge in the village and turn left (just after the Spean Bridge Hotel) into the Corriechoille Road. From the east, leave the A9 at Dalwhinnie, if coming from Perth or Edinburgh and take A889, joining A86 heading west. If coming from Speyside leave the A9 at Kingussie and drive through Newtonmore. At the far end of village bear right onto and follow A86 west for Spean Bridge and Fort William. After Roy Bridge you will come to Spean Bridge. Turn right onto the A82, across the river bridge and turn left (just after the Spean Bridge Hotel) into the Corriechoille Road. Once in Corriechoille Road, after just 100 metres reach a Y junction you will see Bla Bheinn on the right, in Station Road. Our entrance is immediately after the junction. |
