Fieldwork in the Curriculum
Fieldwork in the Curriculum is a unique service
operated by Chris Dickinson, M.A.
Chris has over 25 years experience of delivering field work and other outdoor training to the education service in Scotland.
It aims to provide high quality training courses for teachers of the Scottish geography curriculum in practical fieldwork. Excellent input for CPD
Courses are designed to illustrate techniques, human and physical examples and methods of delivery to school pupils in field projects. We design and deliver courses to individual authoritie's teachers on request.
Courses are usually one day and take place at venues all over Scotland and beyond at sites that provide excellent examples of aspects of the geography curriculum.
We also have a programme of courses for school pupils and new courses can be designed to meet specific needs from Primary 5-14 right up to Advanced Higher.
Pupil field trips to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands are available in 2008/9
